OTHER OPTIONS
While malls and complexes offer excellent variety and quality, many Greater Cincinnati communities are also home to unique and charming shopping experiences. We have listed a sampling:
Hyde Park Square and the O'Bryonville shopping district just northeast of the downtown area off I-71 (either Smith-Edwards Rd or Dana Ave exit) are eastside favorites. Olde Montgomery Village is another favorite (just north of Cross County Highway on Montgomery Rd). They feature one-of-a-kind clothing and home furnishing stores, antique stores, restaurants and more.
Another hard-to-resist find is Olde Montgomery Village, also accessible by I-71 (take exit 12, go north on Montgomery Road a couple of miles, the district begins at Cooper Road).
Wyoming has a fun collection of antique and specialty shops also. (Northwest off I-75 take Galbraith exit west to Vine, then north to Wyoming Avenue)
Covington's MainStrasse Village (just off 5th Street in Covington) is a restored German village where you will find vintage items, handcrafted gifts, antiques and collectibles, and more.
A popular antique destination is Lebanon, Ohio (about 45 minutes north on I-71) where you will also want to save an appetite for a home-made meal at the historic Golden Lamb.
