Over two million people call the Greater Cincinnati area home, making it one of the largest metropolitan areas in Ohio. The region is comprised of the city of Cincinnati and the surrounding areas of Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. The area is made up of numerous distinct and vibrant communities. The City of Cincinnati is home to many diverse neighborhoods, including Avondale, Clifton, Bridgetown, Columbia-Tusculum, Bond Hill, Hyde Park, Northside, Wyoming, Over-the-Rhine, Westwood, and Mt Adams. Surrounding Cincinnati in Southern Ohio are the cities of Fairfield, Hamilton, Madeira, Mason, Mariemont, Terrace Park, and Wyoming, and across the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky are the cities of Covington, Erlanger, Florence, and Newport.
