Explore Price Hill

Named for General Rees E. Price, Price Hill is one of Cincinnati’s historic neighborhoods. Like many of Cincinnati's early suburbs, Price Hill was originally settled by wealthy residents looking to move out of downtown. Today it is a mixture of old and new with a strong community devoted to revitalizing the neighborhood.

Price Hill is home to dozens of local restaurants and businesses, many of which are destinations for visitors as well as locals. Popular restaurants range from upscale dining at Primavista, named “Best Italian Restaurant” by Cincinnati Magazine, to The Incline Public House with its panoramic view of Downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River. Other local favorites include Price Hill Chili, a regional staple since 1962.

Living in Price Hill provides easy access to some of Cincinnati’s premier museums and cultural attractions. Cincinnati Museum Center, Findlay Market, and The Aronoff Center are all just minutes away as are Cincinnati’s professional sports stadiums, Paul Brown Stadium and Great American Ballpark.

Mt. Echo Park provides hiking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Mt. Echo Pavilion can be reserved for weddings or social gatherings. Completed in 1929, the Pavilion is known for its scenic vista and breathtaking views of downtown. Other Price Hill landmarks include the Holy Family Church and St. Lawrence Church.

Through efforts of organizations like Price Hill Will, this neighborhood has become one of Cincinnati’s more popular places to live.
